Questions focused on economic development, transportation funding, proposed changes to the grantor's tax and growing concerns at Smith Mountain Lake related to the Shoreline Management Plan, AEP and FERC. The endorsed Senate candidates each received a $5,000 RPAC contribution. The endorsed House candidates each received a $2,500 RPAC contribution. | |

Interviews were conducted with all candidates. Questions focused on economic growth, attracting young people to the County, the increasing water and sewer permit fees for new construction, the County's new library and the best use of Explore Park. Carter Turner received a $2,000 RPAC contribution. Charlotte Moore received a $1,000 RPAC contribution. | |
